Walnut Practical T'ai Chi Sword
This practice Tai Chi Sword (SH2009A) is perfect for serious beginner and advanced students. With it's rapid taper 28˝" fullered blade, 4" lacquered natural wood finished grip and scabbard this is indeed a very quick sword. Weighing only 1.2 lbs. the sword balances at 4" from the grip end of the guard. This is the most flexible of the three (Practical Tai' Chi Series) blades but is still sufficiently stiff to maintain complete control.

Crafted by Paul Chen in Hanwei, China to a completely different standard of quality than most pieces available, this T'ai Chi sword is built around a hand-forged blade and is a fully tempered high-carbon steel, profiled to produce a fast, well balanced sword for the martial artist an authentic piece for the collector of oriental weaponry.

Traditional Sword Maintenance Kit
The Traditional Maintenance Kit (OH1003) is supplied with each piece in the “Forged Steel” and “Forged-Folded Steel” series and is also available separately. The kit contains blade oil, rice papers, an oiling cloth, a powder ball for blade polishing, a brass awl and hammer and saya shimming veneer. The kit is contained in a fitted wooden box and full maintenance and handling instructions are included.
